İş Leasing laid the fundation of its strong corporate structure in 1988 and was founded as the partnership of International Finance Corporation (IFC), Société Générale and İşbank. The partnership continued until 1995 when the İşbank Group became the sole owner of İş Leasing after IFC and Société Générale transferred their shares to İşbank. İş Leasing's current shareholding structure was formed when the company's shares became publicly traded in March 2000.
